While channel surfing over the weekend, I came across a THAT GIRL marathon on TVLAND. As a single girl four decades ago, that was one of my favorite shows. For your amusement, I’ve posted some pics from that era of an Ann Marie wannabe! Note the brooch on the bodice and the flipped coiffure. And no well-dressed, respectable ingénue would attend church with naked hands. It was fun to watch some of the old shows in color for the first time since we had only B/W TV in those days. It also brought back the days of typewriters and pay phone with cords!
